According to recent findings by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, a significant liquidation event has occurred involving the transfer of 30,874 ETH , valued at approximately 77.71 million USD , from a prominent whale’s previous wallet to the Kraken exchange. This transaction marks the conclusion of a strategic accumulation that began in September 2022, when the whale acquired 120,874 ETH at an average price of 1,647 USD each. The investor commenced profit realization starting in May of last year, strategically transferring assets in six separate transactions at an average selling price of 2,732 USD . This meticulous approach has culminated in an impressive profit margin, with the overall gains reaching as high as 131 million USD . The whale’s calculated movements highlight the ongoing dynamics of institutional investment in the Ethereum market, emphasizing the potential for well-timed acquisitions and profit-taking in this volatile environment.
